A quirky comedy set in the small, picturesque yet rather odd coastal village of St. Gweep, Simon Nye's Wild West stars Dawn French as Mary Tregwednack who lives above her Post Office in the Cornish village of St. Gweep with her neurotic partner Angela (Catherine Tate). Mary and Angela enjoy the cosy security of life in a tight knit coastal community but their chances of finding suitable men are more remote than the village itself. The two women find themselves thrown together in an unlikely yet happy relationship, which is put to the test on occasions, particularly if a healthy hunk of testosterone visits the village... Series One and Two.
