Sir Mark Tully was the BBCs India Correspondent from 1972 to 1994. On this CD he looks back at his career which coincided with a remarkable period in Indian history, during which he reported on the assassinations of two Indian Prime Ministers Indira Gandhi and her son Rajiv, the storming of the Sikh Golden Temple, the Bhopal gas disaster and the conflict between the Hindus and Muslims after the demolition of a mosque at Ayodhya.
