“This is one of those rare spin offs that seem to surpass their origins. I prefer torchwood to doctor who for many reasons, one is that the characters are more likeable and loveable, then of course their is the return of the much beloved Captain Jack Harkness who was missed on Doctor Who.Torchwood has it's own style which in many ways is similar to Doctor Who (as they share some writers) but it fits the cast perfectly. Each new episode is as compelling and thrilling as the last.Children of Earth is a fast passed rennovation of the original series with an extremeling intersting and contoversial plot and i was glad to hear that the next season 'The New World' will be adopting the same style but with double the episodes.My only regret is that i wasn't able to buy the series at this low a price. Ask all my friends, i am a torchwood fanatic! ”

John Barrowman is inspired and the humanity and compassion that flows between the characters is what sets these series apart . I was devestated at the conclusion of CHildren of Earth and felt Gwen's pain. Surely there will be a season 4???”
