Chris Langham stars as the inept reporter Roy Mallard (voice over only) in this spoof fly-on-the-wall documentary series capturing day to day life in a variety of offices.

The managing director - Roy travels to Nottingham to spend a day with Peter Wilson, managing director of Zenotec - a company fighting to keep afloat in the stimulating environment of surface mount technology.

The Estate Agent - Roy spends a day with Levick's Estate Agents - a small family firm in Lewes, Sussex.

Police officer - Roy gets more than he bargained for when he spends time on duty with PC David Knight in Northampton. A routine day is transformed into a tense roof top drama when an insurance company employee threatens to commit suicide.

Head teacher - King Edward the Seventh is a comprehensive school in Kent run by head teacher Stuart Symonds. Roy is with him on the day when there are interviews for an important post in the school.

Photographer - Will Rushmore is a Winchester based freelance photographer. He has given up a safe job in town planning to devote himself to his art. It's a struggle and today could be make or break when he goes for an interview at a smart London art gallery. Roy is there to witness how it turns out.

Solicitor - Roy visits Nicola and Graham Broadbent who together run a small firm of solicitors in Cheshire.
