“This is one of the most perfect series ever, and no wonder it is still popular after decades. It has plenty of very intelligent humour, wit and criticism to what policitians, whatever the policital party they belong to, are prone to. It is a pity that the BBC has not adopted yet a multi-lingual policy for audio and subtitles.”

“This is probably the only comedy programme ever that had to be checked by downing st before it went on the air. You could almost believe it was real. Sadly Nigel Hawthorne and Paul Eddington are no longer with us but they will leave us laughing for many many years to come: 10 out of 10. ”
“This series is so hillarious and contrary to expectation has not become dated at all. It's also about the only show my husband doesn't fall asleep in front on the tv to as he's laughing too hard...”
