The popular, award-winning BBC drama returns for a second series. Set in the Forties it follows the lives and loves of the land girls doing their bit for Britain in the Women’s Land Army. Bea, now a farmer’s wife and mother and Joyce, are joined by new land girl Connie. As the women work hard on the land the shadow of war is never far away.

Returning cast members Jo Woodcock (All The Small Things), Becci Gemmell (Home Time) and Sophie Ward (Holby City) are joined by Clive Wood (London’s Burning) and newcomer Seline Hizli.
