The complete second series of the BBC detective drama starring Nathaniel Parker as DI Thomas Lynley and Sharon Small as his partner DS Barbara Havers. In this series, Lynley and Havers solve four more puzzling crimes: the death of a star cricketer, the abduction and killing of a Government minister's daughter, a murder on Lynley's ancestral estate (prime suspect: his brother), and the suspicious death of a young Asian man, involving racial tension, religious extremism, family loyalties and illicit sex. Away from work, Lynley's relationship with his old friend Helen Clyde (Lesley Vickerage) has blossomed into love and they are now planning to marry. Meanwhile, Havers no longer has her parents to look after, and is enjoying the first home of her own and a newfound freedom.
