“Very good coverage especially of UK athletes”
From: Ann turner
“Came today 7 discs Excellent value. Have already watched first two discs. Can remember all the special days and nights we had in July and August. Well put together BBC.”
“I was in the opening ceremony and wanted to re-live that experience. I watched first on DVD with BBC commentary and that was like watching on the night ( with a bit of tidying up). I was curious to hear Danny's take on it all so watched with his comments. Normally I don't listen to commentary but I was hooked. I couldn't stop listening. It was like watching it with mates in a bar.And then I watched in HD with surround sound and no commentary - it came to life. I got it. And loved it.I urge everyone to watch in HD if you can.. Brighter. As the producers want you to see it. But also so much more real. Try the Men's 1500m final with no commentary. Takes you right into their shoes.”
