1. Royal Mail Strikes
We have made alternative arrangements so your BBC Shop orders will not be affected.
All orders will be shipped by DHL.
Where's My Order
1. Delivery timescales
All orders received through BBC Shop are processed and, if the stock is available, despatched within 1 working day of receiving the order. Therefore, your products will usually be with you in just a few days.
If you place your order before 12 noon Monday to Friday, the goods will be despatched the same day. Any orders received after 12 noon will be despatched the following working day.
2. How quickly will my order arrive?
BBC Shop delivers direct to you - no fuss, no hassle, no delay! BBC Shop is one of the fastest ways to receive BBC products online; 98% of all BBC Shop orders are despatched in 1 working day.
Your order is despatched directly from the BBC Shop central warehouse. All orders are either sent by Royal Mail or by courier (UK only).
On rare occasions we may run low on stock of non-BBC published items which are supplied externally and will manually adjust the delivery time accordingly. The estimated delivery will be shown on the product description page.

3. Lost Packages
On rare occasions we do experience losses whilst in transit. Please allow 10 days for the package to arrive from the date of despatch. If this time elapses and the goods do not arrive, please contact your local post office to check that no goods are being held. In the unlikely event that the package is not being held, please contact our Customer Services team who will be happy to assist in sending a replacement.
Please be aware that if we are not contacted within 30 days, an insurance claim cannot be made and thus you will be unable to claim any loss from BBC Shop.
4. Track an order
If the items despatched exceed 1.4kg or have a retail value greater than £75 the order will be sent using Parcelforce next day delivery. If this is the case with your order simply retrieve your tracking number from your account and then visit the Parcelforce Website and track the order using their functionalityClick here

1. Delivery to Europe
Europe orders will normally be delivered using Royal Mail International or International Recorded. If the items despatched exceed 2kg, the order will be sent using Parcelforce (please note that these orders will need to be signed for). As a guide, large hardback books and large DVD box sets will have a weight greater than 2kg meaning that goods will be sent via Parcelforce.
2. Delivery to United Kingdom
UK orders will normally be delivered using Royal Mail. If the items despatched exceed 1.4kg or have a retail value greater than £50 the order will be sent using Parcelforce next day delivery (please note that these orders will need to be signed for). As a guide, large hardback books and large DVD box sets will have a weight greater than 1.4kg meaning that goods will be sent via Parcelforce.

1. BBC Shop Packaging
Within the full range of packaging material all the card and paper is at least 60% recycled and all the packaging (the tape included) is 100% recyclable. We currently run a 0.04% damage to consumer rate with this packaging which is industry leading.
We also conform to the European Union’s waste management regulations with our packaging; the regulation controls the packaging we send to the consumer ensuring that it is as minimal as possible and that all parts can be recycled by the consumer.
2. Different credit/debit card billing address
Your contact address must match your credit/debit card address. For this reason you may wish to provide a different delivery address.
3. Items despatched by courier
In some instances the items you order will be delivered by courier (Parcelforce). If no one will be able to sign for the goods at your contact address you may wish to send the goods to an address where someone will be able to accept the goods during normal business hours, for example, a work address.
4. Items sent as a gift
If the items you order are intended for a gift you may wish to have the goods delivered directly to the gift recipient, but have the receipt sent to your own address.
