Although the images are astounding, the archives are impressive, and the true stories -- compelling, I find this series to be rather limited. The events of 20 years ago are so much more grand than can be captured in three hours about three countries. I would love to see an episode about each of the countries in the former Soviet bloc, including all the former Soviet republics and Russia itself. They cannot be looked at separately. In order to understand what happened to all of us who lived through it, it must be looked at in a bigger, more interconnected way.
