David Attenborough is perfect host. Camera work is second to none, editing absolutely superb!Planet Earth takes you from pole to pole and continent to continent. Very educational and as eye opening as an Inconvenient Truth movie. The beautiful photography takes you on journeys about our planet so magnificent it truly makes me sad to be human...The polar bears are so hungry and the wales so endangered we should do the planet a favor and vanish!Besides my misanthropic view of our wasteful and selfish species you really should watch this because it is truly an amazing piece of work. BBC spared no expense on the production and obtained permission to film in area's normally barred from human interference, which is undoubtedly a GOOD THING!Of all the nature productions out there I have to give this one my highest thumbs up.Cheers
