Downloading purchased items

Once your purchase has been confirmed your download will begin automatically if you already have the BBC Shop Download Manager running and you are logged in. If you do not have the Download Manager running then you will need to start it and log in for your download to begin.

At busy times there may be a short delay (up to 10 minutes) between confirmation of purchase and the download starting.

Once the download has started you can pause it and otherwise control the download using the settings in the Download Manager.

The default option for the BBC Shop Download Manager is to save your downloads in the ‘BBC’ folder, found in the ‘My Documents’ folder on your computer. This can be changed by clicking 'Options' then 'Browse' on the Download Manager and selecting a new folder to store your files.
