Vastly superior version of Bennett's classic FORTY YEARS ON, this 1970s performance is one of the greats. The more recent production suffers from being minus John Gielgud and from a 'suburban' sound in the younger members of the cast that manages to demolish the illusion of a classic English public school. No such twang here. Listen and enjoy.
