Outcasts is a refreshing and thought provoking programme. It was great to watch a more adult orientated Sci-Fi show on terrestrial TV . Its about a colony of survivors from Earth that now live on a new planet called "Carpathia" A colony that now has to come to terms with their alien environment and discovering that things are not as easy as it was first thought, to fit in. The discovery of a far superior, highly intelligent non-corporeal life force was a gripping plot twist. Outcasts is a class affair on all fronts, that challenges the viewer to ponder politics, philosophy, humanity and forcing us to take a look at our actions in reality.
