Philip Blanco

Brings back memories of watching Sgt Farmer, Lt Gaylion and Capt Triggers battle the Hun and their own demons in early World War 1. I watched the series as a teenager and am now reliving it with my 11-year-old. The special effects and flying sequences are low-budget but forced the producers to be creative in how the episodes were shot. The storyline takes some liberties with aviation history but incidentally provides us with a very believable picture of the changing times on the home front. Highly recommended, and with the DVD you don't have to wait a week between episodes!
