Ritchie Forbes

While not forgetting the definitive Holmes in the shape of the late Jeremy Brett, I have to say Rupert Everett proved a very worthy equal in this story. His acting and style captured Holmes in a different way to his predecessors. A very good story and well acted with the feel for the era without too much of the fog and typical "holmes" backdrop that other versions seem to need. Well worth seeing, and perhaps another story with Rupert Everett returning as Holmes?
