My wife and I are watching this masterpiece for the 4th time since we purchased the DVD and it is compulsary viewing at this time of year. This is sheer brilliance by the BBC not only in the production and direction but the casting also. Every character is portrayed brilliantly even those who have only have visual expression to offer. When I purchased this for my Sister in Law in Australia she couldn't stop watching it until the very end. Absolutely well done to an excellent BBC.
