I thought this was one of the best T.V. programmes and I still love it. It has just the right balance of comedy, pathos , drama and fun. Set in the beautiful scenery of Western Scotland it brings the area to life and you find yourself hoping there is such a place as Lochdudh. Hamish has the right attitude to life and has a great band of characters who enrich his life and ours. Who can forget Lachlan and Lachie Junior, Doc Brown ,Isobel Sutherland, Rory the grocer and his girlfriend Esme the teacher as well as Barney and Agnes and the incomparable T.V. John. A fitting finale to the characters we had grown to love over the first two series. I've had this one for a while now and we (husband, daughter, son and I) often brighten up a dull evening in their company.
