My daughter was expected to work through this book, then check her own work using the answers given at the back of the book. As many questions are at best ambiguous, and even some of the straightforward questions have incorrect answers given this just caused confusion. If the dreaded SATS are still around next year I would refuse to buy this again for my son (currently in year 5).
